Archiwum Danych Jakościowych przy Instytucie Filozofii i Socjologii Polskiej Akademii Nauk

 Konferencją Socjologiczne dane jakościowe jako świadectwa epoki i dokumenty dyscypliny pragniemy zainicjować w Polsce publiczną dyskusję na temat archiwizacji danych jakościowych i ich ponownego wykorzystania.

Do udziału w konferencji zaproszeni zostali przedstawiciele czołowych europejskich ośrodków wyspecjalizowanych w archiwizacji danych jakościowych, mających w tym zakresie duże doświadczenie, którym będą się z nami dzielić: UK DATA Archive (Wielka Brytania), WISDOM (Austria), czy Instytutu Socjologii Węgierskiej Akademii Nauk. Chcemy wspólnie z zaproszonymi gośćmi zastanowić się nad potencjałem tkwiącym we wtórnej analizie danych jakościowych, ale też problemami związanymi z ochroną danych osobowych, autorstwem materiałów, sposobami ich wykorzystania.

Qualitative Data Archive at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences  

The conference ‘Sociological Qualitative Data as Testimonies of their Time and Documents of the Discipline’ is meant to initiate a public discussion in Poland about data archiving and their re-evaluation.

Representatives from top European centres dedicated to archiving qualitative data were invited to take part in the conference at which they will share their extensive experience in the field. These centres include UK DATA Archive (Great Britain), WISDOM (Austria) or the Institute of Sociology of the Hungarian Academy of Science.

Together with invited guests we would like to reflect on the potential of secondary analysis of qualitative data but also on difficulties related to protection of personal data, issues of authorship and data usage.
